Clare’s Season On The Line In Wexford Clash

It’s all to play for today as Clare take on Wexford in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Qualifiers.

Brian Lohan’s men travel to Portlaoise to face Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford outfit, with the winners earning their place in the Quarter-Finals against a losing provincial finalist.

The Banner will be missing Captain David McInerney after his appeal to turn over a red card he received against Laois was rejected.

Senior Selector Ken Ralph says he’ll be missed but praised other sections of the team, particularly their goalkeeper.

Throw-in for that match at MW Hire O’Moore Park in Portlaoise today is at 2pm and we’ll have live coverage here on Clare FM with Matt Water’s Fruit and Veg Market, Turnpike Road, and Geraghty’s Spar and Off-License, Turnpike, Ennis.
