Quick Turnaround In Store For Clare As They Face Waterford

A former Waterford Hurling Captain says the extra days rest won’t be of any great benefit as they prepare to take on the Deise this weekend.

The Banner earned their spot in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Quarter-Finals after a strong showing against Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford on Saturday, while Waterford lost out to Limerick on Sunday.

The two teams now meet in Cork this coming Saturday, and though Waterford will be coming into the game on just six days rest, Fergal Hartley doesn’t expect this to have any real impact on the game.
