Former Clare Player Says Ladies Footballers Treatment Needs To Improve

A former Clare ladies footballer says the treatment received by the Cork and Galway teams last weekend was a step back for the sport.

The two teams’ All-Ireland semi-final clash proved controversial after both sides were given just two hours to adjust to playing the match at Croke Park.

Calls have been made in this county and elsewhere to amalgamate the LGFA and GAA to prevent a similar situation happening again.
