A former Independent TD for Clare is calling on the local authority to build a car park on stilts to offset the temporary pedestrianisation measures in Ennis.
There have been concerns raised of inadequate access to parking spaces for the disabled in the town as a result of the Ennis Mobility Plan, which was implemented at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Clare County Council say the plan is under continuous review, with the annual Christmas pedestrianisation provisions currently being examined.
