Coughlan Says Pre-Lockdown Work Will Stand To Minor Footballers

Clare’s minor football boss says the work his side did before level five restrictions will be important as they begin their Munster Championship campaign this evening.

The Banner’s young charges travel to Thurles to take on Tipperary, with a semi final place on Wednesday night against either Limerick or Waterford at stake.

Ennistymon’s Brendan Rouine will captain the side, who will be hoping their much changed team can stage a repeat of the emphatic win over the Premier county in last year’s competition.

Manager Dermot Coughlan says his side will attempt to hit the ground running tonight.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast live here on Clare FM, throwing in at 5pm, and our coverage is with the Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board.
