Wife of Late Micheál Ryan Vows To Fight On For “Justice”

The widow of the Lahinch engineer who lost his life in a plane crash in Ethiopia last year has vowed to fight on in her quest for justice.

Micheál, Mick, Ryan was one of the 157 people on board the Ethiopian Airlines-operated Boeing 737 Max jet which crashed shortly after take-off from Addis Ababa last March in what was the second fatal crash involving this type of aircraft.

The plane was subsequently withdrawn from service, to allow for defects be repaired, but Micheál’s wife Naoise Connolly Ryan and others say it should never have been allowed to continue to fly after the first disaster.
