Clare’s County Dog Warden has thanked hospital staff after a number of unfortunate events led to his hospitalisation twice over the Christmas period.
Ennis-based Frankie Coote had his prostate removed in December after scans detected non-aggressive cancerous cells.
While recouperating over the festive season, an incident with a chainsaw led Frankie back to the accident and emergency department after he unfortunately lost one full finger and part of another.

Frankie says the level of care he received on both occasions was ‘brilliant’.
