The Vice President of Shannon Chamber says trade with the UK has been halted as a result of bureaucracy created by Irish government departments.
Bunratty-based haulier Eoin Gavin will represent the Chamber at the Oireachtas Transport Committee today to address issues at ports arising from Brexit.
Hauliers will tell members of the Committee that customs authorities here need to undertake a ‘substantial review’ of the IT systems used for checks.
