Clare Home Advantage For Cork Possible As Sanctions Expected For Rebels

Clare’s senior footballers appear more likely to have a home fixture against Cork when the regionalised league formats eventually take place.

Sanctions against both Cork and Down for overseeing collective sessions that breached guidelines are to be confirmed today, with the Irish Examiner reporting the loss of a home venue for both counties for at least one league game is being considered.

Colm Collins’ side are due to take on the Rebels, along with Kildare and Laois, in this year’s condensed format.
