Met Eireann has issued a snow/ice weather warning for Clare, in anticipation of wintry conditions this Thursday.
The low-level Status yellow alert applies for the entire country.
Forecasters say this week’s cold snap could lead to a band of sleet and snow spreading northeastwards across the country.

Any snow that does fall in Clare could melt away relatively quickly, as conditions are expected to transition to rain in the West and South on Thursday night.
