Revenue has seized drugs with an estimated value of 20,000 euro at Shannon Airport.
Officers discovered more than a kilogram of Kratom – which can at low doses have cocaine-like effects – after routine searches at the facility.
The drugs were discovered in a parcel originating from the Netherlands and was destined for an address in Galway.
