Walking and cycling facilities in Clare and elsewhere are set to be expanded and improved on in the near future.
Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan has announced funding local authorities to recruit Active and Sustainable Travel Officers, including here in Clare.
The roles will see successful applicants tasked with linking up existing cycling and walking infrastructure to ensure safe and sustainable travel is possible throughout the county.
