Shannon Chamber says it’s a “big achievement” for Clare that so many potential investors expressed an interest in setting up in the county last year.
The IDA hosted 16 businesses on site visits to the county last year, seven of these remotely.
It’s a dozen fewer visits than the previous year, but is a higher amount recorded than in any other county outside of Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork.

Chief Executive of Shannon Chamber, Helen Downes has been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill that she believes this type of interest will be maintained into the future, and that will lead to jobs growth.
