Noah and Sophie have become the most popular names for baby boys and girls born in Clare.
The names were the most popular in this county last year, replacing Jack and Ava- Jack had been the most popular name for the past three years, and Ava the last two.
Nationally, however, Jack was still top, followed by James, Daniel, Noah and Conor.

Grace was the most popular girls name in Ireland, with Fiadh, Emily, Sophie and Ava rounding out the top five.
