Clare Gardaí say further education is needed for both children and parents here on the dangers of involvement in the drugs trade.
The appeal comes as a file is being prepared under the Juvenile Diversion Programme following the seizure of €10,000 worth of cannabis herb from a teenager on the outskirts of Ennis yesterday.
The seizure is part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the area.

Superintendent John Galvin says that operation will continue, and he’s confident Gardai in Clare have sufficient resources to continue to curb drugs problems here.
