Clare Gardaí are urging people to follow public health guidelines and to avoid large gatherings and house parties this St Patrick’s Day.
To date, more than 2,100 fines have been issued across the country to people who have organised or attended a house party.
An Garda Síochána is appealing to the public to stay at home, as they increase checkpoints and patrols at public spaces.

Superintendent John Galvin says complaints are received on a regular basis about gatherings in houses in this county and he’s warning they will continue to enforce Covid regulations today.
