No Publication Date Yet For Nugent Report

The Minister for Justice is still not in a position to give a timeline on when her Department will publish a report into the 1984 death of Patrick Nugent.

The 23-year-old banqueting manager had been working at a party in Bunratty before his death, and the jury at his inquest later ruled he had been accidentally hit by a car after he had been struck by a person or persons unknown.

No one has ever been convicted in relation to his death.
