Don passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday in his 97th year of life in Moorabbin, Melbourne surrounded by his Australian family.
Loved husband of Kathleen (dec.). Much loved and treasured father of Teresa (dec.), Rita, Donna (dec.), Janet, Joanne (dec.), Mark and Paul. Respected father-in-law of Tony (dec.), Kevin, Lee, Joanna and Jie. Admired and much loved grandfather to eight and great-grandfather to nine. A life well lived. A legend at rest.
He is survived in Ireland by his twin brothers Louis and Charles Murphy, his sister-in-law Margaret Murphy, his first cousins Eda, Mary and Paula, nieces, nephews, friends and numerous members of his extended family.
