A former Clare senior hurling captain believes the experience gained by a number of the Banner’s young crop in 2020 will stand them in good stead for the upcoming campaign.
Brian Lohan’s men will get their Munster championship campaign underway when they encounter last year’s All Ireland quarter final conquerors Waterford at the end of June.
Before that, they will play out a Division 1B calendar in the National Hurling League which begins with a long trip to Antrim in three weeks’ time.
