An additional €5 million is being made available for litter infrastructure and awareness campaigns.
The funding has been announced by Minister for the Environment and Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan, who says the money will support local authorities ahead of a largely outdoor summer.
He says there’ll be more recycling and litter facilities, but there’s no exact figure on how much will be spent in Clare.
