Clare’s Orlaith Duggan doesn’t believe the debate over camogie’s fixture calendar has distracted the side ahead of their opening league game at the weekend.
The Banner will travel to Athenry on Saturday to take on last year’s All Ireland finalists Galway, after the Camogie Association’s decision to proceed with a split season model.
Some teams had considered boycotting the league competition if the format wasn’t adopted, with players having voted overwhelmingly in favour of such a structure.
