Clare football boss Colm Collins feels his side need to be much sharper in front of goal if they are to get their 2021 National Football League campaign off to a winning start.
Laois make the trip to Cusack Park on Sunday afternoon with the O’Moore County bidding for back to back wins at the venue following last year’s 1-12 to 1-11 victory.
Collins will unveil his starting 15 for the game later this evening with a number of starting debuts likely for what will be a new look squad.
Clare registered 12 wides in last years loss to Sundays opposition and Collins says it is something they will have to address if they are to reverse the result.
