Two additional dieticians are to be recruited to work with Child and Adolescent Mental health Services in Clare.
The funding approval, as part of the HSE’s National Service Plan 2021, will see specially-trained staff taken on to work with people suffering with eating disorders in this county.
Bodywhys, an advocacy group for eating disorders in Ireland, estimates over 180,000 people in this country will need help with such issues at some point in their lives.
