The manager of the Clare ladies footballers is confident his side are making progress after their second outing of the campaign.
A late rally was not enough to reel in Kerry as Evan Talty’s charges lost a high scoring game in Tralee by 4-13 to 3-11.
Two goals in the closing stages from Catriona Callinan and Siofra ni Chonaill brought the game to the wire, but the senior Kingdom outfit held on to take the win over their intermediate opponents.

Talty says while the result may not have gone their way, his side showed big improvements from their first game.
