Judge Mary Larkin has been assigned the permanent judge for Clare.
Originally from Oughterard in Co. Galway, Judge Larkin was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 1976 and subsequently practiced in Clare, Limerick, Gort and Donegal.
She was appointed to the judiciary in 2012 and has been presdieing in West Limerick for around a decade.

The Limerick Leader reports that at her final court sitting in Newcastle West, there was a resounding mesage that “Limerick’s loss is Clare’s gain”.
