Plans are underway to ensure the Spanchilhill Horse Fair will cater for event goers in a virtual sense this week.
The historic fair was cancelled last month due to ongoing public health restrictions – just the third time in its 400 year history that it’s been shelved.
A virtual marking of the event will be held tomorrow night featuring a mixed media performance piece chronicling images of the fair from the past three decades.

Creative Artist Christy McNamara, who’s putting together the images for the event, says it’s important to mark an important part of Clare’s heritage.
