Clare Farmers Left Down By Agriculture Minister In CAP Reform

Clare’s IFA representative says he feels let down by the Minister For Agriculture’s representation of Irish farmers in CAP talks.

EU farming ministers yesterday accepted the provisional deal struck on Friday in relation to reform of the Common Agricultural Policy.

While the reformation of the CAP still has to be formally approved by both the European Parliament and the council, it’s been hailed as a large step towards the proposal becoming law.
