A Clare GP has expressed hope that changes to recommendations on the Astrazeneca and Johnson and Johnson vaccines will help ensure that most young people will have received their jab before the end of the summer.
NIAC is recommending the inoculations for use in all age groups, having previously been limited to the over 50’s.
Health officials are also saying the interval between the two Astrazeneca doses could be cut to as little as four weeks.

Ennis GP, Dr Máire Finn has been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill that it’s a welcome move and she insists that it’s vital that people take the vaccine they’re offered.
