A senior addiction counsellor is extremely worried about the widespread availability of cocaine in Clare.
Michael Guerin, from Cuan Mhuire Addiction Treatment Centre, says clients from this county have confirmed to them that cocaine use in commonplace.
It comes as the latest report from the Health Research Board revealed cocaine use in Ireland has doubled over the last two decades, with over 7% of adults reporting using drugs recently or in the last year.

Counsellor Michael Guerin believes the acceptance amongst younger generations that recreational cocaine use is ok is a huge concern.
