Clare’s Senior Hurling manager, Brian Lohan, has praised his team for having done everything that has been asked of them this year.
The Banner emerged 2-25 to 2-22 winners over opponents Wexford after dominating the scoreboard from early on in the game.
The side will now enter today’s draw for the next round, where they will be paired off with either Galway or Cork.

Lohan’s said even though it was a first round qualifier, it was a massive deal for the whole squad and that he was so proud of their performance both individually and as a team.
