Visiting restrictions are being reimposed at the regions main hospital following an outbreak of Covid-19.
The outbreak control team at University Hospital Limerick has decided to reintroduce the measures in a bid to contain the spread of the virus – with two wards currently affected.
It comes just 10 days after visiting restrictions had eased at the facility, with the new ban to be reviewed early next week.
