Fixture details have been announced for the opening weekend of the new Clare soccer season.

There are four games scheduled for the opening round in the Premier Division, with holders Newmarket Celtic hosting neighbours Bridge United at McDonagh Park.

Elsewhere, there’s an Ennis derby at Lees Road as Avenue United meet Ennis Town, Lifford go to Lahinch to meet Sporting Ennistymon while its an all Shannon clash as Olympic have home advantage against Hibs.
All those games are set for an 11am start on Sunday next.
