Lifeguard cover has been extended at four of Clare’s most popular beaches.
Clare County Council has announced that lifeguards will be on duty from 11am to 7pm seven days a week at Fanore, Lahinch, Kilkee and Spanish Point until Sunday, Sepatember 12th.
The lifeguard service at Ballyalla, Bishops Quarter and Seafield will close fully today however, while Mountshannon, Ballycuggeran Killaloe, Cappa, White Strand Doonbeg and White Strand Miltown Malbay will only have weekend cover for the coming fortnight.
