Combo Eyeing Up Clare SHC Quarter Final Spot In Crucial Clonlara Tie

Inagh-Kilnamona can seal their place in the quarter finals of the Clare senior hurling championship this afternoon.

The Combo have won their opening two rounds, and will guarantee themselves a last eight spot if they overcome Clonlara in Cusack Park.

It is a second championship game for the south east Clare men, who saw off the challenge of O’Callaghan’s Mills in their first round tie.

Throw in this afternoon is at 2.45pm with live commentary on Clare FM in association with Oliver Foudy Motors, Towing and Breakdown Service Inagh.

Today’s action gets underway with a high noon showdown in Cusack Park where Newmarket can also seal their quarter final place as they take on Clare Cup champions Feakle.

 

The final game of the day comes this evening in Sixmilebridge as Whitegate and O’Callaghan’s Mills meet from 5pm.

Elsewhere, there are two games today in the intermediate hurling championship.
