Overcrowding At Region’s Main Hospital Continuing To Rise

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to rise.

The latest INMO figures show 61 people were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 35 of those in the Emergency Department.

It’s the highest number of any hospital in the country and comes on a day when 431 patients have been left waiting to be admitted at hospitals across the country.
