Kilkee Fire Station has officially opened, following a 620,000 euro upgrade and extension works.
The facility now has an extension to the rear of the building, the provision of a lecture room and kitchenette on a new first floor and various other upgrades to services.
The work, which included the relocation of the station to Erin Street, Dough, took 12 months to complete.
