Crowe: No Complaints From Sixmilebridge After Eire Óg Loss

Sixmilebridge boss Tim Crowe admits his side can have no complaints after seeing their bid for a third successive Clare senior hurling title come to an end.

The holders were dethroned by Eire Óg who held their opponents to just six points from play over the course of the hour

The draw for the last four will take place this evening, with Eire Og joined in the hat by Newmarket, Ballyea and Inagh-Kilnamona.

Crowe says their club should be proud of what has been achieved on the field over the last few years.

Meanwhile Newmarket boss Tomas Ryan says while they are glad to reached this stage, they know much more will be needed to take it to the next level.

The Blues turned the game on its head as Mikey McInerney’s goal kickstarted a revival that saw them through by 1-15 to 0-15 after trailing by six points at the break

Ryan says there is plenty to build ahead of their last four showdown.
