A Garda investigation is underway after a young boy was threated by a man in a popular Ennis park during a busy time of day.
Shortly after 5pm last Thursday evening, a man approached a 13-year-old boy in Tim Smyth Park and demanded he hand over money.
The boy complied and Gardaí say that while he was not physically injured, it was a traumatic experience for him.

They’re urging anyone in the area at the time, who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100.
