The death has occurred, peacefully, of Sr Bernadette Coughlan, Poor Clare Monastery, Ennis, Co. Clare, and formerly of College Road, Cork, in the loving care of the staff of Carrigoran House Nursing Home.
Deeply missed by her grieving community and her loving family, Vera, Frank, Benigna, Colette, Angela, and her devoted in-laws, nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents May and Frank Coughlan, her brother Bernard, her niece Sandra and her nephew Justin. Sadly mourned by the sisters in the Poor Clare Federation and by her many friends.
Funeral Mass for Sr. Bernadette at the Poor Clare Monastery Chapel on Monday, November 8th at 12.00 noon. Due to Covid restrictions, it can only be a small family funeral.
In compliance with current HSE guidelines, the number of people attending funeral Mass and the burial ceremony is limited to a maximum of 50% of the church capacity. Please comply with public health advice.
