The Tánaiste has said he believes it is possible to get through the winter without introducing further restrictions.
Daily Covid case numbers have remained stubbornly high, with The Department of Health notified of 3,428 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday.

As reported by Clare FM news, as of last Friday all five of Clare’s electoral areas had a higher rate of Covid-19 per 100,000 of the population than the national average.
