The Chair of the Ennis Tidy Towns Committee says even more projects are needed to ensure the county town can maintain its position as tidiest town in the country.
Ennis scooped the top prize at this year’s Tidy Town’s Awards, which were held at the RDS on Friday.
The county town beat off stiff competition, with over 840 entries from groups across the country.

Cormac McCarthy says the award was won by the whole town and not just the committee and he insists that new innovative projects will have to be developed to ensure Ennis receives a high rank in future years.
