The HSE has confirmed that redevelopment work will get underway on the Bushy Park Addiction Treatment Centre in the early next year.
Full planning permission has been granted for the single-story extension which will be added to the main house, with additional bedroom accommodation, social spaces, a kitchen and offices.
In response to a query from Clare TD Joe Carey, the HSE’s National Director Capital and Estates, Jim Curran has said the detailed design, as well as the shortlisting of contractors is now complete.

He’s confirmed that it’s anticiapated that the works will be tendered, with a contractor appointed in the first quarter of 2022, allowing for residents to be moved into alternative accommodation over the coming months.
