A number of homes and businesses in the Quin area are without water supply following a burst rising main.
Irish Water says crews have been dispatched to restore supply to customers in Quin, Newmarket, Knappogue, Ballymarkam, Caherkine, Mooghaun & surrounding areas.
Repairs are expected to last until two o’clock today and the utility says it typically takes two to three hours for normal supply to return to those affected by an unplanned outage.

Irish Water has apologised to customers and is encouraging anyone with queuries to contact its customer care helpline on 1800 278 278.
