The Director of Shannon Airport has rubbished claims that the removal of the Shannon Heathrow Route played a role in the demise of Element Six manufacturing.
In 2007 the company said the Shannon operation was under "active review" over the loss of the route as 90 percent of their customers used the Heathrow connection.
However Martin Moroney, speaking as Aer Lingus adds a third daily flight to the re-installed service, said Cityjet then provided the connectivity and Element Six were among the first to avail of the service.
