World Renowned Clare musician Sharon Shannon is set to be honoured by Clare County Council this afternoon
The Ruan Corofin native will be the guest of honour at a civic reception at the Local Authority Headquarters in Ennis this evening in recognition of her contribution to music both here and around the world.

Sharon has had numerous hits over the years and collaborated with various other artists including Mundy, Bono, Sinead O’Connor, The Chieftains, and The Waterboys
