Ennis Town Council and local traders are hoping to boost the Christmas Shopping trade today as the town goes car free.
Abbey Street, O’Connell Street and O’Connell Square are pedestrianised between 11 and 6 today with similar plans for the next two Saturdays as well as Sunday, December 20th and Christmas eve.
Extra parking is being provided at local schools and at the courthouse
