Clare Councillors will hold a special meeting to discuss the controversial Mid-West Regional Draft Planning Guidelines.
It follows suggestions from some councillors that the Mid Western Regional Authority is proposing Daft Planning Guidelines and that the document includes population control measures for Clare reflective of Hitler’s "Mein Kampf"!
This afternoon’s meeting will focus on the implications of the regional plan for County Clare, and despite the criticism the Director of the Mid-Western Regional Authority Liam Conneally is pleased to see the guidelines provoking debate
