Ryanair is calling for an end to landing charges at Shannon Airport, as its major route cuts take effect.
With the five year agreement between the low fares airline and Shannon now at an end – its 27 routes have been cut to just 10, following failure to agree on new reduced landing costs.

Ryanair is also renewing its calls for the 10 Euro travel tax to be scrapped, and says airports like Shannon need to realise that air travel is still growing despite the recession, though not in Ireland.
