Transatlantic services at Shannon airport will be boosted by the return of Delta Airlines this weekend.
And Clare FM has learned the major international airline will keep it’s Shannon to New York’s JFK airport flights going all year round following the summer season.
In a statement to Clare FM, Delta Airlines says they’ll offer daily services from Shannon starting on Saturday, while the JFK service will run four times a week during the winter, offering connections throughout the US including Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

It’s a welcome return for Delta following it’s controversial withdrawal of services last year and Mayor of Shannon Sean McLaughlin hopes it’s the start of other good news to come
