Full time patients at Raheen Community Hospital will not be affected by the Day Centre’s plans to close today.
The Health Service Executive has announced that the Day Centre located at the hospital near Tuamgraney will take its annual two week leave early to facilitate staff holidays and concentrate resources on inpatient services.
The service will reopen on the 8th of June and a HSE spokesperson told Clare FM there’s no fear of service closures at Raheen.

Bodyke Councillor Joe Cooney, says he’s hopeful the facility will run as normal once it reopens.
